For most users, we used the address you provided at the time of signing up as the default starting point for your account.

This location is the starting point for the weather map, and is also what's used to determine what forecast sites, road weather sites, cameras, and lightning data applies to your account.

For most users, this isn't an issue, but for some, you may want to adjust where your default location is.

To do so, follow the steps below.

• Open the weather portal (https://portal.ksmi.ca/)
• Click Account Settings
• Click EDIT on one of your groups
• Click Add or Modify Forecast Sites
• Click Add New Site
• Click Map Settings
• From here, drag the map so the marker in the middle of the screen is where you want the map to load every time.
• When done, click Save Map Centre.

Going forward, this location will be used for the weather map and to determine nearby forecast locations, road weather stations, weather cameras, and lightning data.
